Babatunde Adebayo Adeparusi (aka ’Tunde Adeparusi) is a man of many parts whose creative and innovative nature has found expression in various interesting areas (Language, Art and Social sciences inclusive).

 

‘Tunde graduated as one of the best students from the faculty of Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, with a Bachelor of Arts from the Department of Foreign Languages (1999/2000 session). He has authored numerous articles, published locally and internationally. Among his publications is an academic book titled; Understanding and Preventing Youth Crime: An investigation into Gun and Knife Violence in 2017, which he carried out as an independent researcher in criminology (doctoral). Due to his creative and innovative prowess, he has been able to pioneer and execute many public and private projects in art, space design and management, landscaping, and many more. 
 

As a Security Consultant with a master’s degree in international criminology from the University of Greenwich, London, ‘Tunde is very active in the security industry. He is a certified member of Security Institute, United Kingdom. In 2019, ‘Tunde proposed a security-solution idea to the Federal Government of Nigeria as a measure to combat the incessant cases of stowaway and other security breaches in the airport, and this idea became the prototype security watchtowers culminating in the recently built surveillance system, currently aiding to contain the incessant security breaches in the Nation’s busiest Gateway, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos. 
 

‘Tunde is a Global Advisor for an international organization headquartered in the United Kingdom. He is a member of FixPolitics, a noble citizens-led movement whose goal is to structurally change and innovate politics in Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of the world. Tunde’s current academic research area is banditry in Northwest Nigeria. Other interesting research areas include youth crime, policing and terrorism. Finding lasting solutions to identified problems in the society is always a motivation for him. ’Tunde Adeparusi is blessed with three lovely children who live with him.
